How we consult

Consulting built around you — not a checklist

Every student's situation is different. Our consulting begins by understanding you — your grades, budget, goals and timeline — and turns that into a clear, realistic plan for studying abroad.

Profile evaluation

We assess your academic record, English level, finances and career goals to see exactly where you stand and what's realistic for you.

A personalised roadmap

You leave your first session with a step-by-step plan: which countries and universities fit, which tests you need, and a month-by-month timeline.

Ongoing mentorship

Your counsellor stays with you from that first plan through admission, visa and departure — one point of contact, no hand-offs.

Your UK pathway

Study in the UK

Studying in the UK is one of the most structured — and most misunderstood — application processes for international students. At Edu First, we guide you through every route: from foundation programmes to direct university entry, visas, and life after graduation.

Foundation programmes (International Foundation Programme — IFP)

If you're finishing school in Uzbekistan (11th grade) or the CIS system, you typically won't meet the direct entry requirements for a UK bachelor's degree straight away — this is normal, not a setback. An International Foundation Programme is a one-year bridge course covering academic English, study skills, and subject-specific modules, leading to guaranteed or conditional progression onto a full degree.

We work with leading UK pathway providers — Oxford International Education Group (OIEG), OnCampus, Study Group, and INTO — to place students on foundation routes at partner universities, including Oxford Brookes University.

Two ways into a UK degree

Foundation pathway route

You complete a foundation year with one of our partner providers, then progress directly onto the degree — often without a separate UCAS application, since progression is built into the pathway agreement.

Direct UCAS application

If you already meet UK entry requirements (A-Levels, IB, or equivalent), you apply directly to universities through UCAS, the UK's centralised undergraduate application system. We help you build your UCAS application, personal statement, and university shortlist.

★★★★★
“I always wanted Queen Mary University of London specifically. Edu First advised me on the right path to get there — the Foundation OnCampus route — and guided me through the entire application, right up to my visa. I ended up exactly where I wanted to be.”

“I needed help specifically with my visa — I'd already sorted out the university and programme for King's College London myself, but the visa process has a lot of nuance and it's easy to make a mistake with documents. Edu First International Group handled it completely: checked all my paperwork, prepared me for submission, explained everything. My visa was approved without delays, and I'm now doing my Master's at King's College London.”

Student Guide to Choosing an Education Agent

Choosing the right education agent is an important step in your international study journey. A professional education agent should provide accurate information, transparent advice and reliable support while always respecting your right to make the final decision.

At Edu First International Group, we believe students and parents should feel confident, informed and supported throughout the entire process.

What should you expect from an education agent?

A professional education agent should:

  • Provide clear and accurate information about universities, programmes and entry requirements.
  • Help you identify study options that match your academic background, career goals and budget.
  • Clearly explain the university application and admission process.
  • Be transparent about services, fees and relationships with education providers.
  • Support you with the preparation and submission of your application.
  • Provide responsible guidance on student visa requirements and direct you to official information where appropriate.
  • Help you understand tuition fees, scholarships, accommodation and other important study-related costs.
  • Provide pre-departure guidance and help you prepare for studying and living abroad.
  • Respect your choices and allow you to make the final decision about your university and programme.

Questions you should ask your education agent

Before choosing an education agent, we encourage you to ask:

  • Which universities and institutions do you work with?
  • Why are you recommending this university or programme to me?
  • What services are included in your support?
  • Are there any additional service fees?
  • What are the admission requirements and application deadlines?
  • What support will I receive after receiving an offer?
  • How will you support me before departure?

A trustworthy education agent should be able to answer these questions clearly and transparently.

Your future, your decision

An education agent should advise and support you — not make important decisions on your behalf.

At Edu First International Group, our recommendations are based on your individual circumstances, including your academic profile, career ambitions, preferred destination, programme interests and financial considerations. We provide you with the information and professional guidance you need to understand your options.

The final choice always belongs to you.
